Today's running of the roses looks to be a race of one huge betting favourite versus 15 longshots.
The 16-horse field is still stacked with horses at long odds which offers the potential for a big payout. Of the 16 horses, just three are less than double-figure odds to win.
The overwhelming favorite is Tiz The Law, which is headed to post time at an almost Secretariat-like payout of 3-5 odds. The superstar horse looks to deserve every accolade and confidence he's getting.
Tiz The Law is coming off a string of impressive victories, most recently capped by a stunning performance a month ago in the Travers Stakes at the Saratoga Race Course. He also took down the first leg of the Triple Crown Series on June 20 with his Belmont Stakes win. Tiz the Law has won six of his last seven races, and is a perfect 4-for-4 in year 2020. Each performance has been more impressive than the last. No doubt, Tiz the Law is the colt to beat.
