Don Cherry is Hitting 66 Percent Wins -- Another Play Tonight

NHL Apr 09, 2022

Don Cherry's NHL Pick for Saturday:

(Posted Record Here at Pointspreads.ca:  10 wins / 5 losses)

Montreal at Toronto.  The last time these teams played, I picked Montreal for the upset, but not today.

The Leafs are coming off a successful six game road trip. I usually bet against a team when they are playing their first game back at home after a long road trip. I know you shouldn’t go against your own rule of thumb, but I am tonight.

Montreal has not played badly as of late and has little to no pressure on them, which is dangerous. That being said, I think the Leafs will be ready for them tonight, but it will be a close game.

So, I am taking the Leafs straight up.  I am going to take the prop bet that Matthews is going to score anytime at +1.50, maybe he’ll hit 60 tonight, you never know with this guy.

The Cherry Pick:  Toronto (1.25 on the moneyline) and Matthews to score (2.46)
