Boston Celtics now favoured to win next season's championship, while Los Angeles Clippers on the rise in West.
There's been a major shakeup in the odds to win the 2022-23 NBA Championship.
When Golden State won last season's finals, they were immediately installed a favourites to repeat. After all, the Warriors are the closest thing to an NBA dynasty that we've seen since the old days of the Lakers and Bulls.
However, the offseason has been packed with significant moves, including trades and free agent signings. Some teams have improved their rosters, while others appear to be weaker.
As of mid-August, the Boston Celtics, last year's runner-up, are the new favourites to win their first title since 2008. They're currently listed at 4.5 to 1. Perhaps the biggest surprise, however, is the rise of the Los Angeles Clippers, now the co-favourites in the Western Conference – along with Golden State.
