Like Father, Like Son

Oh-Canada Feb 01, 2022

Here's a surprising factoid about the upcoming Super Bowl game, to be played on Feb. 13, 2022.

Jimmy Burrow won a Grey Cup with the Montreal Alouettes back in 1977.  He was a two-time CFL East All-Star in the 1978 and 1979 seasons.

Burrow, Sr. just so happens to be the dad of Cincinnati Bengals' superstar starting quarterback Joe Burrow.

From JIMMY BURROW'S Wiki Page:

James A. Burrow is a former all-star defensive back in the Canadian Football League and the National Football League and retired college football coach. He is the father of Heisman Trophy winner and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
Burrow played college football at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.[2] He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the eighth round of the 1976 NFL Draft and played that season with the team. Following his time with the Packers, he played in the Canadian Football League with the Montreal Alouettes, the Calgary Stampeders, and the Ottawa Rough Riders.
