Toronto Raptors will face Philadelphia 76ers in first round

Note: The three final games of the 2021-22 NBA regular season are to be played on Sunday night, so a few playoff seedings remain undecided

Sunday marks the final day of the 2021-22 NBA regular season.  With every team playing there's plenty of action to keep an eye on.

We know the playoff field for both conferences, and now the complete play-in picture as well. Some seeding still remains undecided, making this an exciting 15-game curtain call before the playoffs start next week.

Matchups for Play-In Teams

East: 7 vs. 8

Brooklyn Nets vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

East: 9 vs. 10

Atlanta Hawks vs. Charlotte Hornets

West: 7 vs. 8

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Los Angeles Clippers

West: 9 vs. 10

New Orleans Pelicans vs. San Antonio Spurs

Western Conference

In the Western Conference, the Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets are still competing for the fifth spot, while the Dallas Mavericks are hoping to catch the Golden State Warriors with the chance of claiming the No. 3 seed entering the postseason.

With the West Coast games coming up, let's take a look at what's still on the line Sunday tonight:

  • Phoenix (No. 1) and Memphis (No. 2) have locked in their seeds.
  • Golden State locks up No. 3 with a win. If the Warriors lose to the Pelicans, Dallas can jump to No. 3 with a win over San Antonio.
  • Utah locks up No. 5 with a win over the tanking Blazers. If they lose, Denver can jump to No. 5 with a win over the Lakers.
  • No. 7 (Timberwolves), No. 8 (Clippers), No. 9 (Pelicans) and No. 10 (Spurs) are all locked into their slots.

Eastern Conference

Over in the East, the Boston Celtics locked up the East's No. 2 seed with a win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Down further in the standings, the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers both won their games Sunday, giving the Nets the top spot in the play-in round as the two teams were currently tied for seventh. In the other East play-in, it will be the Atlanta Hawks (9) vs. the Charlotte Hornets (10) after the Hawks prevailed against the Houston Rockets.

The Eastern Conference Playoffs are set:

1. Heat vs. 8th Seed

2. Celtics vs. 7th Seed

3. Bucks vs. 6. Bulls

4. 76ers vs. 5. Raptors

Nets host Cavs Tuesday for 7th.

Hawks host Hornets in the 9-10 game Wednesday.
