NBA Playoffs: Second Round All Set
Phoenix Still Favoured to Win it All; Boston Jumps Up to Second Favourite in Betting Odds
Most first-round playoff series ended in mismatches. Out of 8 matchups in all, one series went 4-0, three went 4-1, and four finished 4 games to 2. We didn't even get to see a Game 7 in any series.
That's likely to change with Round 2 about to begin. This next series of playoff games should be much more competitive than what we've seen, so far.
Two games tip-off on Sunday -- Milwaukee vs. Boston and Golden State vs. Memphis.
Monday night features two more series Game 1s -- Philadelphia vs. Miami and Dallas vs. Phoenix.
At present, the Phoenix Suns remain the odds-on favourites to win this year's NBA championship. Spreads.ca prices the Suns shining this summer at 3.90. Over in the Eastern Conference, Boston made a major move with public confidence by sweeping Brooklyn. The Celtics are ranked right behind the Suns to win it all, currently priced at 4.00.
Here's a look at the futures to win the championship:

Prediction (powered by Pointspreads.ca):
We don't see any standout teams in any series. Sure--Phoenix, Boston, Golden State, and Miami each deserve to be favourites in their respective matchups. That said, no lower-seeded team would be a shocker if they won.
Our betting advice is to pick an underdog and go with them to win the series and advance in the second round and on to the conference final.
We lean to Milwaukee (9.00 at Spreads.ca) to win it all and repeat. This Bucks team has gone over the top before and understands playing great basketball in May and June is essential to a championship season.
