NFL Parlay of the Week [Week 4]
We missed hitting last week's Parlay of the Week by a half point. So far, we're 2-1 on NFL parlays this season. That's +4.2 units, if you're keeping score.

Damn, the Chargers defense. We were THIS close to hitting what would have been a third straight parlay, which pays 2-6 to 1.
With 4 minutes remaining in the Jaguars-Charger game last Sunday, Jacksonville had the ball facing a 3rd and 11. The Jaguars were ahead 31-10. We had Jacksonville +7 and UNDER 47.5. All Jacksonville had to do was not convert, probably kick a makeable FG, and the game likely lands UNDER and we win the parlay. Instead, the Jags scored on a TD pass and the game skimmed OVER by a half point.
Oh well. Now, it's one to Week 4:
The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens play on Sunday in the feature game on the NFL Week 4 schedule. Both teams are 2-1 and face strong competition within their divisions this season. Buffalo comes off a wacky loss at Miami and now must go on the road to face one of the NFL's most explosive offenses. The Ravens boast the league's highest scoring team and should be another tough test for the Bills, who were picked by many to be a Super Bowl finalist.
Buffalo comes into Baltimore as a surprising 3-point favourite at Spreads.ca. The O/U is 51.

Parlay of the Week:
Points should be plentiful in Baltimore. These are two of the most explosive offenses in the NFL and given what we've seen so far, there's nothing to indicate this won't be another shootout. Provided this total doesn't go up from 51, we like the OVER. The Ravens at +3 are probably also worth consideration for bettors who want to pick a side.
Better yet, let's pick the Ravens +3 with OVER 51. A high-scoring game could go either way and if Baltimore keeps it close or wins outright, we might cash the parlay.
