NFL Parlay of the Week [Week 8]

NFL Oct 29, 2022

We lost last week's Parlay of the Week, giving us 3-4 for the season.  Still, with 2.6-1 odds on each bet, that's a profit of +3.8 units on our parlays, if you're keeping score.

We missed on hitting last week's "Parlay of the Week," which now gives us a 3 wins and 4 losses on our record for the NFL regular season.  We bet the Texans and the UNDER 46 in the HOU-LV game, and though the halftime score was 10-10 and we were looking good, the game disintegrated in the second half.

So now, it's on to Week 8.

We'll gladly take those results and the nice profit.  But we also want to improve and produce more winners.

Here's a look at this week's NFL odds at SPREADS.CA:

Parlay of the Week:

Buffalo -10.5 and OVER 47 is the parlay pick in this Sunday Night NFL matchup.

The correlation here is that if the Bills cover this high number, that means they will have an effective day on offense, and that usually means an OVER on the game total.

Buffalo seems unstoppable at home, destroying most opposition and rolling up the score in many games dating back to last season.  The Bills have played just two games at home this season, but have outscored the opposition by a combined 79-10 in points.

Green Bay's recent struggles are well-documented.  Yet this remains an Aaron Rodgers' quarterbacked team, so some points should be scored by the Packers.  We doubt if it's enough to get the cover.  Nonetheless, there's enough talent to get into the end zone.  It just seems Green Bay is underachieving and should break the spell at some point, though playing against the Bills on the road might be the most difficult challenge imaginable.

The Sunday night primetime factor probably helps the OVER, as well.  Though night games have trended UNDER this season, this matchup features two prolific passers with solid credentials in lighting up scoreboards.

In summation, we don't see the Packers keeping up with the Bills in points. However, they should produce enough scoring to push this total over the number.

Note:  Weather is a non-factor--55 degrees is forecast for game time.

The Pick:  BUFFALO -10.5 with OVER 47

The Prediction:  BUFFALO 34 GREEN BAY 20
