NFL Sunday Preview: Buffalo Bills at Arizona Cardinals

NFL Nov 14, 2020

As the playoff push is beginning to heat up, more NFL action returns on Sunday. The Buffalo Bills and Arizona Cardinals are two playoff teams who have visions of postseason success. How should you bet and spend your money? Don’t worry, we have you covered. All odds are courtesy of Spreads.ca

The Buffalo Bills will take on the Arizona Cardinals in a game that features two surging football teams. Both have played at a high level this season, and it should make for an interesting game on Sunday.  These two teams have met 11 times, Buffalo holds a 7-4 advantage in the series. The last time these two teams met was September 25, 2016. In that game, Buffalo won by a 33-18 margin.

In their last game, the Arizona Cardinals were defeated by the Miami Dolphins 31-34. In defeat, Kyler Murray played well. He went 21-of-26 on the day, throwing for 283 yards and three touchdowns. He also led the Cardinals in rushing with 11 carries for 106 yards. In the receiving department, Christian Kirk played at a high level. He caught five passes for 123 yards and a touchdown.  Darrell Daniels added a touchdown of his own as well.

Murray is catalyst for Cardinals

One player to watch for the Cardinals would be Murray. He has proven he can do it all both in the passing game and on the ground. He is a dual-threat quarterback in every sense of the word. The second-year signal caller has proven that he can take his talents to the National Football League.

Coming out of Oklahoma there were questions about his height and if he could play at a high level in the National Football League. So far, those questions have been answered.

Bills riding high off momentum of Seahawks win

In the meantime, the Buffalo Bills stunned the Seattle Seahawks by a 44-34 margin. Josh Allen went 31-of-38 on the afternoon, throwing for 450 yards and three touchdowns. Zack Moss added nine carries for 18 yards and a touchdown in the running game, while Allen added a touchdown of his own.

Stefon Diggs took care of things for Buffalo in the receiving department. He caught nine passes for 118 yards, averaging 13.1 yards per catch.

Diggs is star to watch for Buffalo

In terms of a player to watch for Buffalo, Diggs would be my guy. He has proven to be a force for the Bills at the position, especially as of late.

Prior to the Seattle game, he put up a six, 92-yard performance against the New England Patriots.  He is able to have big games, as he recorded eight catches for 153 yards against the Miami Dolphins back in September.

The rapport between Allen and Diggs  has been sensational for both parties. Diggs is a true  deep-ball threat, something Allen was missing last year. The Cardinals will certainly have their work cut out for them on Sunday.

Betting prediction

Murray is playing at an extremely high level. I see him helping the Cardinals in a major way. He can also run and pass the ball, and that’s a huge part of the Arizona offense. It is because of Murray that I think they cover the spread.

I feel comfortable betting the Cardinals at -2.5 in this game.
