NFL Sunday Preview: Los Angeles Chargers at Miami Dolphins

NFL Nov 14, 2020

Aside from the Pittsburgh Steelers, an undefeated 8-0, you could argue that the hottest team in football is Brian Flores’ Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins have won four straight and have a meeting this Sunday at Hard Rock against the Los Angeles Chargers. The world will be watching as two of the NFL’s next-generation quarterbacks face off in an AFC showdown.

Maybe you didn’t have a reason to watch it before. But here are three prop bets you should feel confidently smash, giving you an added incentive to watch this Sunday’s match-up between the Dolphins and Chargers.

Over/Under – 48.5

Justin Herbert is lighting the world on fire, and his 2,146 yards is the most through 7 games in NFL history. And with the Dolphins offense getting an influx of new life with the change to Tagovailoa, this game is sure to be an offensive shootout.

Like the over we told you to smash last week, Spread’s juicy 48.5 seems like a no brainer to me.

If you need one last bit of evidence, look no further than the Chargers averaging 25.4 points per game (14th) and the Dolphins 24.8 points per game (16th).

Bet | Over 48.5 (1.90)

Any-time Touchdown scorers

Before his injury in last week’s game, Preston Williams slowly became Tua Tagovailoa’s #1 target. Unfortunately, the Dolphins placed him on IR, which means another one of Miami’s young wide receivers must step up.

Taking a chance on lightning striking twice with Mack Hollins at 5.00 is tempting. But with Williams out, I think Jakeem Grant benefits most. And all it takes is a well-designed screen or broken coverage, and the receiver known as Mighty Mouse is in the end zone. Someone needs to step up, and the most likely player, in my opinion, is Jakeem Grant.

Bet | Jakeem Grant Any-time Touchdown (3.10)

For my third and final bet, I’m going with Mike Williams any-time touchdown. Keenan Allen is the Chargers top wide receiver. But after Byron Jones struggled in coverage for the Dolphins a week ago, this might be a big week for the Chargers wide receiver in a shoutout in South Beach.

Confidently wager on Williams. Justin Herbert has a cannon, and one of his wide receivers is bound to have a big day. Mike Williams is that wide receiver.

Bet | Mike Williams Any-time Touchdown (2.90)
