NHL Pick (Saturday): Don Cherry Picks the Oilers (+1.5)

Oh-Canada Mar 12, 2022

Don Cherry's NHL Pick for Saturday:

(Posted Record Here at Pointspreads.ca:  6 wins / 3 losses)

Tonight the Tampa Bay Lightning are in Edmonton playing against the Oilers.

Tampa Bay is half way through their six-game road trip. So far, they are 1-2, not that great for them.  The Oilers are on a slide winning only one out of their last three games.

The question for me is which Koskinen ( I am assuming he’s starting for the Oilers) will show up tonight?  On some nights he’s great and on other nights he’s not.

For all the Oilers up and downs, they are only two points out a playoff spot and have two games on hand over the Golden Knights.

While it is always tough betting against the Stanley Cup Champs, I’m taking the Oilers +1.5 on the puckline.

The Cherry Pick:  Edmonton Oilers (1.52 on the puckline)

NOTE:  Pointspreads.ca handicappers are split on this game.  Well, kinda'.  Cherry likes the Oilers at +1.5.  We like the Lightning as favourites on the moneyline.  If Tampa Bay wins by one goal, then we both cash the ticket.
