NHL Pick (Saturday): Don Cherry Goes Wild

NHL Apr 02, 2022

Don Cherry's NHL Pick for Saturday:

(Posted Record Here at Pointspreads.ca:  9 wins / 5 losses)

Minnesota Wild at Carolina Hurricanes (Saturday, 4 pm ET):

This will be a hard-hitting game, for sure.  The Hurricanes are pretty comfortable in first place; I don’t think the New York Rangers are going to catch them.  However, they’re in a bit of funk right now – with a 4-3-3 mark in their last 10 games.

The Wild are also pretty comfortable in the second spot in the Central, and they are certainly not going to catch the Colorado Avalanche.  Minnesota has been on a roll lately, only losing once in their last ten games.

With Marc-Andre Fleury, they will be a team to reckon with in the playoffs.  It is hard to bet against the 'Canes at home, but I will take the Wild and the +1.5 tonight.

The Cherry Pick:  Minnesota Wild +1.5 (1.55 on the puckline)
