Playoff-bound Calgary is a -165 road favourite playing at Winnipeg, which plays it's final game of the season.

The NHL will drop the final pucks this weekend on what's been a thrilling 2021-22 regular season filled with lots of surprises.

Friday night's schedule features the last full slate of games, with 15 matches taking to the ice.

One game certain to be of interest across Canada is the Calgary Flames (50-20-10, 1st in the Pacific) playing at the Winnipeg Jets (36-32-11, 6th in the Central).

Spreads.ca lists Calgary as a -165 favourite, which returns +155 on the home underdog Jets.

The puck drops in Winnipeg at 7:00 pm CDT.

Prediction
(powered by Pointspreads.ca):

So-called "meaningless games" are usually difficult to predict. However, these teams have provided some helpful hints about their late-season motivations.

Despite locking up the division title some time ago, Calgary shows no signs of letting up on opponents, winning three straight, and 7-2-1 in their last ten games.

By contrast, the Jets don't appear to be taking their final weeks nearly as seriously. Out of the playoff race some time ago, Winnipeg is just 3-6-1 in their last ten contests.

One big problem for the Jets in this matchup is -- the Flames have turned into a scoring machine as of late. They are scorching the nets with 32 goals in their last six games.

We think the situation calls for a few bets -- both on the Flames as a big favourite of -165 and the OVER 6 goals. There's some correlation on a parlay bet as well. since a high-scoring game probably plays into a Calgary victory. A bet on the Flames puckline (-1.5 goals) also looks like a smart wager.

So, who said this game is meaningless? Not us, since we like several possible wagers.
