NHL Saturday Night: Blues and Flames Hit the Ice in Calgary

NHL SATURDAY NIGHT: BLUES AND FLAMES HIT THE ICE IN CALGARY
The first-place Calgary Flames (40-18-9) will be eager to get back to their winning ways when they host the St. Louis Blues (37-20-9) on Saturday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Calgary dropped a disappointing loss to the Kings at home on Thursday and now faces another tough Western Conference foe. In fact, the Flames are on a two-game slide, while the Blues have been victories in their last two contests.
Moreover, St. Louis won six of its last seven games and is currently in third place in the Central Division.
Back in January, the Blues played in Calgary and suffered one of their worst defeats of the season, dropping a 7-1 decision.
The puck drops at 7 pm MT. Predictably, the Flames are favoured, which makes the Blues an attractive underdog if we buy into the revenge theory.

OPINION (powered by pointspreads.ca):
It's tough betting against such a good team as Calgary, especially since they've been one of the NHL's best defensive units. However, St. Louis poses a series threat in scoring, ranking seventh in the league in terms of goals per game.
This is a good spot for the Blues to win outright or keep it close, so we like both the moneyline at a plus price and the puckline (+1.5 goals). We also lean UNDER in this contest.
An aggressive bettor might consider wagering on all three prospects -- the Blues on the ML, the PL, and take the UNDER.
A 3-2 final score won by the Blues wouldn't be a shocker.
