The Calm Before the Sportsbetting Storm: This Weekend's Action

Other Jun 26, 2020

With North American spectator sports slated to resume a full-time schedule next week, that leaves one final sparse weekend for gamblers to navigate.

Nonetheless, the calm before the sportsbetting storm includes several attractive menu options at Spreads.ca worthy of consideration.

Golf:  The Travelers Championship continues with Rounds 3 and 4.  Here are Pointspreads.ca, we already touted the prospects of Canadian Mackenzie Hughes.  He teed-off on Thursday at 300-1.  After shooting a blistering -10 on the first day, we got him at 29-1, still a bargain given his current form.

Hockey:  Dates and times aren't quite set, but playoff series prices are now up.  Bettors can wager on which team will win each series.  Seedings and matchups are based on the abbreviated regular season results.  Also on the menu are conference series prices, specific team matchup odds for the finals, and futures on which team will win the 2019-20 Stanley Cup.

Soccer:  English Premier League action continues with a full slate of games.  Odds are available for games played this Saturday all the way through July 6th.  Even more games are available for wagering in Germany's Bundesliga, which has nine games scheduled on Saturday alone.

Auto Racing:  NASCAR has been in the news a lot lately.  Spreads.ca has numbers on the latest race from this weekend's NASCAR Cup Series.

Esports: Betting on gamers is now a big thing and will continue to grow.  From Counterstrike to Starcraft, esports should be checked out by gamblers.  There's money to be made in this niche market.  Check out all the options HERE.

If that's not enough betting options for you, then check out the prices on Korean baseball games, darts, handball, rugby, snooker.....and a whole lot more.

Seriously, all this stuff is up now, live and ready for action.

On second thought, maybe this weekend isn't the calm before the storm.  In sports gambling, the winds are always blowing and the weather's constantly changing.
