What a wacky weekend it was!
No, we're not only talking about Tom Brady's crazy NFL retirement flip-flops. On Saturday, the 44-year-old quarterback G.O.A.T. was reportedly just about to hang up his Tampa Bay uniform. Apparently, for good.
But then news updates from Camp Brady started coming out clarifying the mass confusion. Apparently, the big retirement announcement was totally premature.
Whoa, not so fast, Brady bashers! Once again, "Tom Terrific" can't ever be counted out of anything he does. Just when you thought he was finished, yet another "comeback" begins. Now, Brady might even orchestrate his greatest comeback of all -- in the offseason, returning from the faux fate of his misreported retirement. The football soap opera continues. We'll see what happens.
In other craziness -- both NFL conference championship games went down to the final few seconds. For those who are counting, that's six incredible playoff games in a row. Oh, and betting these games is a sure fire way to increase one's blood pressure.
The Cinderella Cincinnati Bengals staged a stunning comeback at the Kansas City Chiefs, while the Los Angeles Rams overcame a 10-point deficit in the second half versus the San Francisco 49ers to gain the birth as a Super Bowl home team. The big game will be played in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 13th. which is the home of the Rams. The opening line is LA Rams -4 with a betting total of 49.5. Look for Spreads.ca to post an extensive betting menu of wagering opportunities in the coming days ahead.
Oh look, the betting has already begun!
(By the way, this screen shot is just a fraction of what's up already. With my finger mashing the down button, it took me a full 20 seconds to scroll through all the Super Bowl props listed at Spreads.ca, and they're not even all up yet.)
Speaking of the upcoming Super Bowl, one of the "boosted bets" at Spreads.ca hit on Sunday and turned everyone who bet it a winner.
We had the "Animal Parlay" boosted up to a bonus payout, which included a winning ticket on the Bengals-Rams Super Bowl matchup.
It's sure nice to profit on the Super Bowl before the game even kicks off!
