The Toronto Raptors ended their short preseason with sloppy play overall and lackluster results. However, not much should be taken away from the loss to the Miami Heat, but the Raptors clearly must play better or they will disappoint early in the season and be on the outside looking in.
The underdog role clearly suits this team. During the amazing championship season in 2018-19, the Raptors were never thought of as fan or betting favourites until they actually won the title. Then, last year – well, let's just say everything went crazy. So now, the Raptors are underdogs again.
