Saturday Night Fights: UFC 277 Heads to Dallas

Other Jul 27, 2022

Nunes is a sizable favourite to defeat Pena and regain her belt. In the other big match, Moreno is laying about 2-1 odds to retain his championship against KKF.

Two championship belts are at stake on Saturday night when UFC heads to Dallas.

Julianna Pena will defend the UFC Women’s Bantamweight title for the first time in a rematch with the former champion, Amanda Nunes. That huge upset loss was remarkable because it marked Nunes' first loss inside the octagon in seven years.  Nunes is widely-acknowledged as one of the best women fighters in the world, so all eyes are on her to reclaim the title.

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated co-main event features another rematch as Brandon Moreno takes on Kai Kara-France for the UFC Men's Flyweight belt. Moreno took a full three rounds to claim a unanimous decision win over KKF when they first met at UFC 245. Since that loss, KKF has moved up to second in the world UFC flyweight rankings. His three-match win streak that includes impressive first-round KO victories against two talented fighters -- Cody Garbrandt and Rogerio Bontorin.

This all makes both challengers very live bets if we chose to back them in UFC 277.

Preliminary matches get underway at 5:00 pm CST. The main card is set to throw the first punch around 9:00 pm CST.

All the action will be available on Pay-Per-View.
