Formula 1 travels to Paul Ricard this Weekend for the 2022 French Grand Prix

When it comes to auto racing, at Spreads.ca, you can bet on almost anything!

The winner of the race? That's easy -- each driver has odds posted on his chances to win.

However, that's just a tiny appetizer on the giant menu of wagering options on this year's F1 French Grand Prix.

Indeed, there's so much more to consider when making a wager or two, such as the fastest lap time, the number of drivers to hold the lead at some point in the race, a driver making a top-ten finish (yes or no), which driver will drop out first (including mechanical problems or a crash, and so much more.

It's very possible to have action on every facet of this race from start to finish.

The big racing weekend gets underway on Friday with FP1 and FP2, followed by FP3 and qualifying on Saturday, before the Grand Prix finale on Sunday.

Note the time difference, which means most races begin about 9;00 am EST each day.

Okay, so now check out this graphic:

Prediction (powered by Pointspreads.ca):

In a previous report (READ HERE!), we touted Lewis Hamilton (the third betting choice at 10-1 odds) even though Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc are near co-favourites and are getting most of the public action.

A bit of a hedge on this is to wager on Great Britain to be the winner's nationality, which is priced at 1.00 to win 4.50. Not only are there four solid British racers, but we would get George Russell on the ticket (13-1 odds) who ranks fifth in points this season and could be very live on race day. Then, add Alexander Albon (also on the Mercedes team with Hamilton and Russell) and Lando Norris (Renault) as the fourth driver.

Here's the odds on Nationality of the Winner at Spreads.ca:
