Bet of the Day Update: Our complimentary BET OF THE DAY won again last night. The two-team NHL parlay paid 100/115 which is the second consecutive plus-money victory. Following Friday's outcome, that marks a 10-3 run on our last 13 free plays. Over the last month, our BET OF THE DAY has gone a blistering hot 24-9 on the daily selections.
Major League Baseball
Major League Baseball has reached the midway point of training camps and exhibition games. We're slightly more than two weeks away from opening day, April 1st.
As we've posted here before, it remains profitable to bet on hot teams that appear to take the games more seriously than opponents. The Kansas City Royals have been the best exmaple of this, going 9-3, inclouding multiple wins as an underdog. Conversely, the Chicago White Sox are just 1-8 in exhibition games, though they're forecasted to improve this upcoming season.
Note the White Sox are favoured today, which might be a good fade. Even with a superior starting pitcher, that's not enough of a factor to justify a -150 pricetag (the opponent, LA Angels which are 7-4 in the pre-season are +130).

NHL Odds and Notes
A dozen games take to the ice on Saturday.
Six of the seven Canadian teams are active. Ottawa gets the bye, which is a good thing since they haven't shown up for a game in more than a week. The first place-Maple Leafs are sizable favourites vs. Winnipeg, which might have some value at +165. Montreal and and Calgary should be hotly contested, though the Habs are laying -135 on the road. Finally, Edmonton looks to have recovered from its slump and lays -120 tonight as the visitor in Vancouver.
For the league-leading Lightning, they're home tonight after a long road trip. Tampa Bay is laying -300 which might give some betting value to the underdog Nashville Predators. Note that Tampa did drop a game in each of the last two series, versus Chicago and Detroit. So, it wouldn't surprise for the big dog to bite at least one of the next two games in this series.
